Our Delivery Plan describes the specific pieces of work we will be delivering in 2019-20 to deliver our vision of a fairer, healthier Scotland. 

2019-20 will be our final year as NHS Health Scotland. On 1 April 2020 fairer health improvement will become part of the remit of Public Health Scotland, a new national body that will provide leadership for improving and protecting the public’s health.

Our delivery commitments are aligned with the five strategic priorities set out in our Strategic Framework for Action 2017-22. These are based on evidence of what will work to improve health and reduce health inequalities. They are supported by a strategic change priority focused on ensuring that we make a successful transition.

Our Delivery Plan was developed in the context of our Management Statement, which sets out the broad framework within which we operate.
