Annual reviews and self assessments, accounts and reports
Each year the Scottish Government asks us to host an annual review so that we can account for our performance.
It is an opportunity for us to publicly review our achievements and challenges over the year and outline our future plans, in line with the previous year’s Ministerial letter.
2018 Process
We are currently in a transition period and our Board will cease to exist from April 2020.
As part of public health reform, the health inequalities agenda will become part of Public Health Scotland, when it is created next year.
It has therefore been agreed that rather than complete a full annual review this year, the assessment of performance would be held during our public Board meeting on 23 November 2018 with the Scottish Government.
Following this meeting, Scottish Government has issued a follow up letter.

Annual reports
As we are in a transition year we have agreement with Scottish Government that we will not produce an annual report for 2016-17 or 2017-18. Instead, you can read our annual impact report of performance.
Public Service Reform reports
In line with the requirements of the Public Services Reform (Scotland) Act 2010, we report on our expenditure with external suppliers above a threshold of £25,000 during each financial year.
