The Scottish Public Health Observatory (ScotPHO) has created a tool that allows you to compare the estimated health and health inequality impact of 11 public health interventions. The Informing Investment to reduce health Inequalities (Triple I) tool can be used at national or local level to look at the changes in mortality rates and hospital admissions as a result of 11 interventions.
The tool allows modelling of the impact on mortality and hospitalisations for all causes (overall and inequalities) for each of the 11 interventions. It is possible to look at the impact for Scotland overall or for individual local authority areas. It is also possible to vary the assumptions behind the models.
