This paper has been produced to inform thinking about the impact of adverse childhood experiences and how to use the Pupil Equity Funding to reduce the attainment gap. It highlights key factors that play a role in children achieving their potential. The paper has been developed by the multi-disciplinary Scottish Adverse Childhood Experiences Hub, hosted by NHS Health Scotland.
