Healthy Working Lives (HWL) has launched its new website, enabling businesses across Scotland to access personalised advice to improve the health, safety and wellbeing of their workforce.

It is packed full of new features such as being able to develop and download personalised actions plans, and create a unique account to book directly onto training courses and get the most out of interactive forms and templates.

Aileen Simpson, NHS Health Scotland’s Head of Health and Work Services, said:

"Good workplace health, safety and wellbeing practice isn’t just good for employees – it’s good for business too. In addition, by promoting good work for all, the new site will make it easier for employers to contribute to reducing health inequalities in Scotland.

"The new website helps businesses with practical tasks such as developing a health and safety policy or completing a return to work form. Its simple guides on a range of topics also provide businesses with practical tips and advice on how to keep their workforces healthy and happy.”

The website is simple to use, search and navigate on any device. Its concise content structure and clean style will make it easier for businesses to find what they need, when they need it.

HWL is a free and confidential NHS service, delivered by NHS Health Scotland in partnership with Scotland's 14 local NHS Boards. It offers advice on a wide range of health and well-being topics to make workplaces safer and healthier.
