Deaths and hospital admissions

Study description

Using routine administrative time-series data, we used a natural experimental study design to assess the impact of MUP on deaths and hospital admissions caused wholly or partially by alcohol consumption in Scotland.

We used data for England as the primary geographical control group. Data for subnational English regions was used in sensitivity analyses.

Reporting
