Place Standard Alliance Seminar
The Place Standard Alliance gathered for the 6th time in Glasgow to celebrate 4 years of the place standard tool with key note speakers from across the sectors, local, national and international updates, the launch of the Place Standard Tool Strategic Plan 2020/23 and an afternoon of participative activities including a World café session and Panel debate.
Event Details
Richard Foggo, Director of Population Health, Scottish Government chaired the morning session and John Howie, Organisational Lead for Place, Health Scotland chaired the afternoon session. The key note speaker was Gary Gillespie, Director and Chief Economist, Scottish Government. A further presentation was provided by Ben Cavanagh, Office of the Chief Researcher, Scottish Government and national and international updates provided by the Place national team. The launch of the new Place Standard Strategy 2020/23 also took place plus a panel session focusing on climate change.
