Good housing is essential for the health and wellbeing of individuals, families and our communities across Scotland.
Housing is a complex social determinant of health and the contribution that housing can make to health and wellbeing goes far beyond bricks and mortar, focusing on much more than just the walls within which we live.
These events are part of a series of regional events seeking to bring together colleagues from across health and housing sectors to: build on our understanding of housing as a pre-requisite for health and wellbeing; increase awareness of the local context for health and housing; share learning and examples of practice; and, explore opportunities for collaboration between public health and housing colleagues to maximise the contribution housing can make to improving health and tackling health inequalities.
Events are taking place in Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Kilmarnock.
Places for these events are now full, however if If you are interested in exploring any of these areas further or would like to join our waiting list please contact the planning team.
