The UK government launched a national consultation on work and health on 31 October 2016. The purpose of this consultation is to help identify the best ways in which the UK government can transform the employment and health support systems in order to get to a position where individuals are able to access the right services, at the right time, personalised to their circumstances. They want to understand what they need to do to support more people to play a full part in employment which enables them to progress and supports their health and wellbeing.

The Welfare Reform and Health Impact Delivery Group (HIDG) is hosting two stakeholder sessions on 26 January (one in the morning and the same session will be repeated in the afternoon)

The aim of these sessions is

  • to provide you with information about the proposals and themes of the Green Paper
  • to give you the opportunity to inform the Health Impact Delivery Group’s response to the consultation
  • to help you respond to the consultation.

Please note attendance at this event is by invite only. If you would like any further information please email Claire Hendry.
